    • Negotiated the successful sale of GPG to a publicly-traded protein processing company
  • Founder, President and CEO of PM Beef Group
  • Member of HyPlains Feedyard, LLC a commercial cattle feeding company with 100,000 hd annual capacity.

Education: M.S. in Animal Science, University of Kentucky

Jim Mitchell

Over 40 years of experience in the meat industry, primarily in the beef industry

Scott Hardiman

Chief Operating Officer

Senior manager with over thirty years experience in the food industry. Oversaw four start-ups, two of which were greenfield case ready plants. Managed Fabrication plants, ground beef plants, portion control plants, and case ready plants

Previously served as: 
  • Chicago Meat Authority, VP Operations. Chicago, IL
    • Responsible for all aspects of production, quality control, maintenance, R&D, and scheduling
    • Successfully combined two production facilities into one, maintaining production capacity
    • Responsible for a team of over 300 associates
  • Vantage Foods NC LP, VP/General Manager. Camp Hill, PA
    • Responsible for the design of and oversaw the building project of two successful case ready facilities
    • Responsible for the Pa facility, an 80-million-dollar greenfield build, which started on time and on budget
    • Responsible for 13 direct reports, and 850 employees
  • National Beef Packing Co., General Manager. Selinsgrove, PA
    • Started up and ran Case Ready plant for NBP, primary customer was Wal-Mart.
    • Responsible for all aspects of plant, including P&L, customer service, quality, yields, safety, turnover, development of crew, maintaining facility, ROI on projects.
    • 8 direct reports, and responsible for 350 employees
  • Moyer Packing, Plant Manager Fabrication. Souderton, PA
    • Responsible for transitioning two production shifts from one facility into a new facility which ran one shift.
    • Also managed Grinding, Shipping and Sanitation Manager
